A few bursary places left for National CLT Conference - get in there quickly!

Published: 29 May 2013

Don't miss out on your chance to come to the National CLT Conference on 12 June in Birmingham.  It will be an exciting and thought-provoking event.  Last year a new CLT was set up every week, and now is the time to join the action and continue the growth of vibrant and resilient communities.

The conference is a unique forum of practitioners and professionals and an unmissable opportunity to get vital advice and support from inspirational and expert speakers.

·        Find out how to make your plans a reality with Frazer Osment, Urban Designer and Landscape Architect at LDA Design on making Exeter St James Forum's Neighbourhood Plan come to life.

·        Hear the benefits of partnering with a housing association from those who have been there and done it. Liz Maunder, Secretary of Norton sub Hamdon CLT will share their experiences of working with Yarlington Housing Group.

·        What is the government doing to help citizens take control? Tom Walker, Deputy Director, Decentralisation and Neighbourhood Planning, Communities and Local Government will reveal all and you can put your questions directly to him.

·        Discover the latest innovative funding options for CLTs from Resonance and the Homes and Communities Agency.

Bursary places are available for volunteer members of a CLT. Only one person per CLT will be awarded a place, unless we find we have sufficient places nearer the time of the event. Additional delegate places can be purchased from £79.

See the conference brochure for full information and booking forms. We look forward to welcoming you to the conference!
